Exams Complete. Check.

Wednesday was a great day. I got up early and drove to St. Petersberg to sit for my MBLEx exam in the morning. It was a 125 question exam (no Asian theory) with 150 minutes allowed to complete it. I buzzed through it in 60 minutes, and even went back over it. When I pushed that final button to end my exam, I felt confident, but nervous just the same. They printed out my score sheet and it said "Congratulations! You've passed." And I scored a 92% - only needing a 70% to pass. Woo hoo!

But that left me with 3 and a half hours until my next scheduled exam. After studying my Asian theory a bit, I drove around and had lunch. Then went back to the testing center to sit for the NCETMB exam. This was a 160 question exam (with Asian theory) and again a 150 minute time limit. It took me 2 full hours to complete and review this one. I was much less confident, having made a lot more educated guesses than I had on my first exam that morning. So needless to say I was nervous when I pushed that final button to end the exam. As I walked to the front desk, the staffer handed my my summary sheet and gave me a big grin and told me "Congratulations Scott". Whew! No score posted on the sheet, but again, it said "Congratulations! You've passed." I think I was literally jumping up and down in the elevator ride back down to ground level.

Whew! I feel so happy. And like a ton of worry is gone off my back.

The hard part now will be focusing on my classwork for the remaining 5 weeks. I have to be careful not to develop a "whatever" attitude.

Back to clinic tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing and working with my clients again, and getting in som practice work.
